A 2010 survey of public health workers conducted by the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice asked about factors that influenced individuals’ decisions to take and remain in jobs in the public health field, as well as their satisfaction with elements of the environments in which they worked, including organizational leadership, management, and professional development. Survey results remain applicable today, as reflected in the PH WINS surveys.
